More than 50,000 tickets have been snapped up by people hoping to win a fully-furnished, five-bedroom Wakefield home - complete with man cave.

Joanna Rose is auctioning her family home in Riverside Villas, Wakefield - a five-minute walk to Pugneys Country Park.

She currently lives there with husband, Andrew and children Billie aged 13 and Poppy, 10. The couple also have a 20-year-old daughter, Amber.

Joanna said: "After acquiring an illness after a very bad accident, I can no longer cope with such a large house and need to downsize. I would love this home to go to a family who will be as happy as I have living here.

"I’ve lived here with my parents since the age of 19 and have a lot of wonderful memories and have also gone on to bring up my own family up here too.

Joanna said: "We're on track for New Years Eve. I think a lot of people are waiting until nearer the time as they don’t realise it will be drawn soon as the last ticket is sold!"
