Abandoned car set alight in field
A car was abandoned and burnt out in a field in Knottingley.
Firefighters from Pontefract were called to land off Windermere Drive at around 6.10pm yesterday evening (May 26).
A spokeswoman said: “It seems as thought someone has taken the car up there and burnt it out. The police are aware of it.”
The blaze took around half an hour to extinguish.
