Ambulance overturns in collision with car
These snaps were taken just moments after a dramatic road traffic collision - which left an ambulance overturned.
The smash happened between the emergency service vehicle and a Peugeot 308 estate car on a junction in Pontefract, which left the ambulance laying on its side on Saturday evening.
West Yorkshire Police Road Policing Unit tweeted that no one was seriously injured: “A638 Doncaster Rd, Pontefract RTC inc an Ambulance, no serious injuries recovery on route.”
