Arriva Yorkshire announces Christmas bus services for Wakefield district

Transport bosses have announced details of bus services for the Christmas and new year period.

A Saturday service will run on Christmas Eve (Wednesday, December 24) with services stopping at 6pm.

There will be no bus services running across the area on Christmas Day (Thursday, December 25).

Arriva Yorkshire will run a limited number of services on Boxing Day (Friday, December 26) including the 110 between Kettlethorpe and Leeds and the 166 between Wakefield and Castleford.

A Saturday service will also run on New Year’s Eve (December 31) until 6pm.

There will be no services running on New Year’s Day and a Saturday service will run on Friday, January 2.
