Arsonists set derelict pub on fire
Arsonists targeted a derelict pub site in Knottingley.
Firefighters from Pontefract and Castleford stations were called to the blaze at The Cherry Tree on Cow Lane at around 11pm last night (March 16).
A spokeswoman said the fire had been started deliberately.
She said the Fire Prevention Department would contact the owner of the pub site to ask that it is secured.
