Blaze on barge boat at Castleford locks
A man suffered from smoke inhalation after a fire on a barge boat in Castleford on Saturday afternoon.
Two fire crews were called to the incident at Castleford Lock, on Lock Lane, at around 1.15pm on Saturday, October 3.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire, on board a barge boat, involved a power invertor.
A fire extinguisher was used, and crews from Castleford and Normanton were called.
A man suffered slight smoke inhalation at the scene, but did not require further treatment, the service said.
