Boy, six, serious injured after being hit by car
A six-year-old boy was seriously injured after being hit by a car in Crigglestone.
The boy was involved in a collision with a black Ford Ka on Painthorpe Lane at around 6.05pm yesterday (Wednesday).
The incident happened near the junction with Daw Green Avenue and the boy was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious leg injuries.
He remains in a serious but not life-threatening condition.
