BREAKING NEWS UPDATE: Garforth Academy pupil missing

The family of missing 17-year-old Garforth Academy schoolboy Joseph Hughes - who went missing yesterday (April 18) - have been informed.

A formal ID has yet to take place.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police launched an appeal earlier today to find Joseph who left his home in the Colton area of Leeds on a bike at around 4pm.

Joseph is described as a white male, 5ft 8” in height, slim build with brown short hair. When he was last seen he was wearing navy blue Nike jogging bottoms, a blue Garforth Academy top and blue Adidas ‘Samba’ trainers.
