British Sea Power and Pulled Apart By Horses join Ash on the bill for Long Division 2015
Thirty bands including indie band British Sea Power, Leeds rockers Pulled Apart By Horses and Fat White Family were confirmed at a launch event today (Saturday).
They will join Northern Irish rockers Ash, who were confirmed as headliners on Wednesday, at June’s festival.

“We’re exceedingly happy to have been asked to come and headline one of the days this year.
“This festival is definitely one for the diary if you love music.“
Long Division will return for its fifth year over the weekend of June 12–14.

Hide AdThe lineup will feature 90 acts in total and the remaining bands will be announced during the next few weeks.
Dean Freeman, festival director, said: “The thing that excites me most about Long Division is that it still excites me. It’s still so much fun organise, and to see and hear such amazing bands in my hometown. And then to meet people from all over the country who have travelled here and are having such a great time.
“I’ve just got back from a trip meeting the big artist booking agents in London; they all know about Wakefield now, because of this festival.”
The festival’s free-entry launch event was held at Unity Works and featured performances from bands CryBabyCry and The Thomas Wilby Gang.
