Business Awards 2012

THE top businesses across Wakefield district are those that are able to flourish no matter what the financial environment throws at them.

That’s why it’s particularly important to celebrate success at this moment in time.

And that’s what we intend to do, for a second year, following on from the great success of 2011’s inaugural Wakefield District Business Awards.

Once again the event will be made possible by our overall sponsors Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors, and we are asking you to nominate your company or your staff into one of the categories that are listed on this page.

There’s something for everyone, whether it be small start-ups or industrial estate factories, and there are awards that span pure economic success through to helping the environment.

This year we are again asking for you to nominate a member of staff for Employee of the Year – the only category that will be voted for by readers of the Express.

We’ve made the nomination process easier this year by creating a specific website platform for the awards – Click here to enter the Business Awards nomination website

You can also submit a nomination or ask any questions via email to [email protected].

The awards evening will take place at the Cedar Court Hotel on Tuesday June 26, and will be hosted by BBC Look North’s Clare Frisby.

Tickets are available for one of the most prestigious black tie events in Wakefield’s calendar, and can be ordered by emailing our events manager [email protected]. Sponsorship opportunities remain for individual categories – contact Anthony Longstaff on 01924 433039 to discuss further.

Last year’s entrants found out what a boost it was to be short-listed or to win one of these awards – this year it could be you.
