Castleford Tigers forward Matt Cook has been suspended for two matches by the Rugby League’s disciplinary panel for a Grade B dangerous contact on Warrington Wolves player Brad Dwyer.

Cook admitted the offence, which occurred in the 68th minute of the First Utility Super League round six fixture at the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday, March 18 and was also fined £300.

He will now be forced to miss the two Easter games, sitting out the home match with Leeds tomorrow night and Monday’s away trip to Catalans Dragons.

Catalans will be without centre Krisnan Inu, who has been banned for three games after pleading guilty for making a Grade D dangerous throw on Huddersfield Giants player Eorl Crabtree.
