Cider maker recalls bottles of perry due to glass fragments

A cider maker has recalled batches of perry as they may contain small fragments of glass at the bottom of the bottle.

Chardolini Sparkling Perry (75cl) bottles have been recalled by Aston Manor Cider due to the health risk the glass fragments could pose to consumers.

A spokesperson for Aston Manor Cider, commented: “We have identified glass fragments in a very small number of bottles of ‘Chardolini’ 75cl from two specific production batches (lots L27105N3 and L5328N3). No other batches of this product or any other produced by Aston Manor have been affected.
