City centre rush-hour delays after '˜bump' between car and police car

Motorists are being warned of slow traffic in Wakefield city centre this rush-hour after an accident between a car and police car.

A spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police say there was a ‘bump’ between a car and police car at around 3.30pm today on the A642 Westgate at Mulberry Way.

There were no injuries.

There are reports that the road is partially blocked, causing slow traffic.
