Classic Morris Minor is auctioned off in Ossett for £17,000
The car, which has spent its life in a garage and has only done 190 miles, was originally bought for just £656 in 1968.
It far exceeded its £10,000 estimate when it was sold on Wednesday by CW Harrison & son auctioneers, of Milner Way.

Hide AdAuctioneer and valuer Dion Harrison said the car’s “hammer price” was £17,000.
He said: “There is not another Morris Minor out there that anyone knows of that just has 190 miles on the clock.”
Mr Harrison said there were a plenty of phone bids and the “internet was going nuts”, but it was bought by a regular customer from York.
