Creative youngsters from Ferry Fryston have written poems about shopping for the town’s Junction 32 retail outlet.

The pupils from Oyster Park Primary School wrote the poems as part of a competition held at the shopping centre.

Staff at Junction 32 chose the winning five poems which have gone on display to shoppers.

Victoria Mitchell, centre manager, said: “We were impressed with the enthusiasm the children showed and how keen they were to find out about Junction 32.”

The winners of the competition were Megan Elvidge, David Waite, Lucy Brown, Hannah Hirst and Marli Dennington.
