Concern growing for missing Denby Dale man

A man has gone missing from his Denby Dale home.

William Dunk, 74, was last seen leaving his home at around 10.30am on Tuesday morning.

Mr Dunk is 5ft 3in tall, of medium build and has a Scottish accent.

He was last seen wearing light blue jeans, a red fleece, a cap and blue shoes.

Mr Dunk has a number of distinctive tattoos including ‘Scotland’ on his knuckles and ‘Catherine’ on his shoulder.

Insp Stephanie Wiseman, from the Kirklees Safeguarding Unit, said: “We have been carrying out extensive enquiries to try and locate Mr Dunk and would urge members of the public to assist us in reporting any sightings of him.

“If Mr Dunk sees or hears this appeal I would urge him to make contact with the police or his family to confirm that he is safe and well.”
