Wayne Adam Derry, age 39, of Mason Close, Upton, admitted breaching a non-molestation order by sending a message to a person on Facebook that he is prohibited from contacting. He was jailed for 16 weeks because the offence was aggravated by threats and previous breaches. He was also told to pay £128 in costs.

Kevin James Lewtas, age 35 of no fixed address, admitted stealing nine bottles of spirits worth £85 from Iceland at Snow Hill, Wakefield. He was jailed for 26 weeks after triggering a suspended sentence imposed on June 3 for stealing. He was also told to pay £128 in costs.

Francine Hopkins, age 41, of Bank Street, Wakefield, admitted stealing alcohol worth £48 from Sainsbury’s on Trinity Walk, Wakefield. She was given a community order with drug rehabilitation requirement and told to pay £180 in costs.

Terry Palmer, age 26, of Longacre, Castleford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards another male at Morrisons Street in Castleford. He was fined £200 and told to pay £100 compensation and £117 in costs.

Bethany Metcalfe, age 19, of Second Avenue, Upton, admitted having 71 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. She was banned from driving for 19 months, fined £260 and told to pay £119 in costs.

Paul Clarke, age 49, of Park Mill Lane, Ossett, admitted failing to provide a breath test when stopped by police, driving without a licence and insurance. He was banned from driving for six months, fined £200 and told to pay £119 in costs.

Melissa Gogarty, age 24, of Field Lane, Upton, admitted having 65 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath while behind the wheel. The legal limit is 35 mcgs. She was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £200 and told to pay £119 in costs.

Mark Francis Jackson, age 25, of Deans Court, Pontefract, admitted failing to provide a sample for analysis after being stopped by police. He was banned from driving for 12 months, given a community order, and told to pay £180 in costs.

Connor Ferguson, age 25, of Pollards Fields, Knottingley, admitted driving while being over the drug-drive limit for cannabis and cocaine. He was banned from driving for 22 months, fined £400 in total and told to pay £117 in costs.

Mark James Thomas, age 21, of Cavendish Avenue, Pontefract, admitted assaulting three police officers and criminal damage to a window. He was jailed for 16 weeks after he spat at the police and made reference to Covid-19, given a one-year restraining order and told to pay £128 in costs.

Andrew Mark Reed, age 26, of no fixed address, admitted threatening to smash up a building on Arundel Close, Wakefield, and was given a community order and told to pay £180 in costs.
