Dangerous driver pleads guilty to crash which hospitalised South Elmsall tot
Daniel Leigh Thrower, 34, pleaded guilty to causing serious injury to JJ Michalowski, then 23- months-old, by dangerous driving.
It follows a two-car collision on the A628 on March 8, which left the youngster hospitalised.

Hide AdThrower also admitted aggravated vehicle taking which involved him driving a Ford Mondeo dangerously on the bypass, having an accident which injured three other people and damaging a Peugeot 407 .
Leeds Crown Court heard today (Thursday) that Igor Michalowski, Llacia Michalowski and Leah Darley all suffered injury.
Solicitor Richard Davies, defending, asked for sentencing to be adjourned until September 4 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
Judge Guy Kearll QC, bailing Thrower, of Shakespeare Avenue, Doncaster, until next month, said: “It’s almost inevitable that you will be sentenced to a custodial sentence and you know that.”
Members of JJ’s family were in court to hear Thrower enter his guilty pleas.
