'Despicable' revenge porn Castleford man given six-months' jail

Jamie Lee Wood, age 27, of Park Road, Castleford, admitted during a recent hearing at Leeds Magistrates' Court to disclosing a private sexual photo to cause distress.

He also admitted breaching a restraining order by sending messages to a female on social media.

In June last year he had been convicted of harassment of a female, sending malicious communications and causing criminal damage to a car for which he was given a community order.

Following his latest appearance, he received 26 weeks behind bars in total, and an indeterminate length restraining order was put in place.

The report said he had acted in a "despicable" way, and that custody was required because of his "escalating behaviour" and that he had shown only limited co-operation with community penalties.
