Hunt for train passenger who took “inappropriate” pictures of woman

Detectives are hunting for this man who police suspect took “inappropriate” pictures of women on board a train.

British Transport Police (BTP) detectives are appealing for help from the public following the incident on Tuesday April 29, on board the 8.11am Leeds to Plymouth Cross Country service.

Detective Constable Ian Grice, leading the investigation, said: “The 25-year-old victim, from West Yorkshire, was stood with a colleague in the aisle.

“As the train travelled between Leeds and Sheffield, the victim noticed a man sitting in an adjacent seat appearing to take inappropriate photographs of her with a mobile phone. She moved away and left the train shortly afterwards.”
