Perverted 'loner' found with indecent images of children as young as six-months-old
Police intelligence led to Lee Turner's IP address being monitored and in August 2018 they raided his former address at Gissing Road on Wakefield's Lupset estate where they arrested him and seized a laptop and a mobile phone.
The 45-year-old, now of Carlyle Crescent, Castleford, initially gave a no comment interview but after the the horrific images and videos were discovered on the devices, he made a full confession.

Hide AdAppearing at Leeds Crown Court today he admitted three counts of making indecent images of children between the age of six months and 15 years.
These included 13 videos and 1,992 images categorised as Class C, three videos and 119 images in Class B and six videos and 84 images in the most serious Class A category.
These involved "at least one" image involved an animal, said prosecutor Holly Clegg.
She said there was clear evidence that Turner had gone searching for abuse images.

Hide AdDuring interview he admitted being aroused by the images but said he had no interest in children.
Mitigating, Andrew Semple said that Turner's relationship with his partner had broken down.
He is also unemployed and has health issues, including depression and type 1 diabetes, and has no previous convictions.
But he added that Turner was a loner who had "taken steps" by enrolling in a course to address his behaviour.

Hide AdJudge Simon Phillips QC said: "It's a sad state of affairs to see somebody before the court for the first time but this is serious offending.
"You have made efforts to address your offending."
He jailed him for eight months, suspended for two years.
