Police hunting wanted man in Pontefract

Police are appealing for information to locate a Pontefract man who is wanted for failing to attend court.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who has information about the whereabouts of Jason Lawson, 41, from Streethouse.

He is wanted after failing to appear before magistrates in North Yorkshire in February where he was due to appear in connection with traffic offences.

Police have been carrying out a number of enquiries in and around Pontefract to locate him.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 8ins tall, with short grey hair and of average build.
