VIDEO: Firework yobs attack firefighters

The footage shows the crew arriving at a street in the Chapeltown area of Leeds to deal with two fires.

But one of the firefighters comes under attack.

The yobs emerge from a side street and begin firing fireworks at the crew and their vehicle.

One firefighter is forced to duck for cover while he is surrounded by a series of explosions.

Once the area is safe, the crew put out the burning rubbish.

West Yorkshire Fire Service released the footage, filmed in November last year, to show what risks firefighters face during the bonfire season.
