Hide AdPC Joel Varey, of the BTP, said: “At around 12.50am a group of three men were sitting outside McDonalds in the station when a woman approached the group and began shouting and pointing in their faces.
“She then launched an attack on one of the men, slapping and punching him in the face a number of times before turning her attention to another member of the group and continuing her attack on him.
“She slapped and punched the second man with such force that it caused him to fall off his seat and onto the floor. He received reddening to his face and swelling to one of his ears.
“This was completely unprovoked and unacceptable behaviour. The group were minding their own business when they were set upon by the woman.
