Dog warning over green algae at Pugneys
People are being asked to keep their dogs out of the water at Pugneys Country Park because of potentially toxic green algae.
Wakefield Council said high levels of the algae floating in the water had been caused by still and hot weather conditions.
The lake at Pugneys is closed today but the rest of the park is open as normal.
