Evening traffic and weather update

Cloudy and misty with outbreaks of rain through the evening, heavy at times.

The rain will gradually clear overnight, but it will still remain misty with a fair amount of low cloud and hill fog. Very mild.

On the roads:

M62 and M1

One lane closed and queuing traffic on M62 westbound between J22, A672 (Rishworth Moor) and J21, A640 (Milnrow), because of a broken down vehicle.

Heavy traffic on M62 eastbound between J26, M606 (Chain Bar) and J27, M621 (Gildersome). Congestion to J25, A644 (Brighouse).

Calderdale

The traffic is moving well on A58 Burdock Way in Halifax between the A647 Haley Hill junction and Orange Street Roundabout.

The traffic is moving well on A58 Bolton Brow in Sowerby Bridge around the A6026 Wakefield Road traffic lights junction.

Kirklees

A62 Leeds road in Huddersfield busy but moving from Three Nuns Junction to Cooper Bridge Roundabout.

Slow traffic on A644 Wakefield Road in Mirfield from Cooper Bridge Roundabout to the M62 J25 Roundabout junction.

Heavy traffic on A638 High Street in Heckmondwike between Junction inn traffic lights and the B6117 Market Street junction.

A638 Bradford Road in Cleckheaton busy but moving southbound at the A643 Parkside junction.

Northern Rail are reporting that due to signalling problems at Hebden Bridge trains have to run at reduced speed on some lines.

The 15:51 Leeds to Manchester Victoria due 17:20 will no longer call at Todmorden and Rochdale.
