A Pontefract family are celebrating after scooping more than £1.5m in their National Lottery syndicate.
The Eccles family, from Nevison, claimed their £1,514,204 winning ticket from the Lotto draw on Wednesday, December 4.
The syndicate was set up by Ann, 75, after her husband Colin died in 2004 and she could no longer afford to play on her own.
Ann and her five sons, David, 56, Colin, 54, Peter, 52, Jason, 52, Mark, 46, and daughter Susan Smith, 49, have won more than £216,000 each.
Ann, who used to work at the Trebor Bassett factory, said: “I am over the moon. We’ve worked hard all our lives and this just offers us some financial security.”
