Firefighters are currently tackling a roof fire at a property in Horbury.

Crews from Ossett and Dewsbury, plus a combined aerial rescue pump (CARP) from Wakefield and a welfare unit from Fairweather Green are working at the scene at Millfield Road.

They were called to the property at 10.57am this morning (Tuesday).

A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said the cause of the fire is currently unknown, but nobody had to be rescued from the property or sustained any injuries.

Bus operator Arriva Yorkshire said the 119 and 120 bus services are currently not serving Horbury Junction because of the incident.
