Get set for Wakefield Drama Festival
Wakefield Drama Festival begins on Sunday and runs until Saturday, June 4 at the Theatre Royal, Wakefield. All performances are at 7.30pm.
Jabba Inc, of Wakefield, will get the competition underway with Full Circle on Sunday night.

Hide AdThere will be a chill in the air on Bank Holiday Monday evening tough when Barton Theatre Company, of Salford, perform Dracula.
Tuesday sees Bite My Thumb, of Leeds, stage ‘Two’ and on Wednesday Trinity Players, of Barnsley, get the chance to impress professional judge Russell Whiteley with their rendition of Abigail’s Party.
The Thursday evening slot is filled by Priory Players, of Ossett, who are putting on the comic tale, Holiday Snap.
Wakefield Little Theatre get their chance to shine on Friday night in Willy Russell’s family drama Blood Brothers.

Hide AdAnd Kismet Theatre, of Gainsborough, will bring the curtain down next Saturday night with Greek classic Trojan Women.
Organiser Paul Hayley said: “After the adjudication of the final performance, judge Russell Whiteley will add up his scores and announce the results. Trophies will be presented to the winners of the various categories.”
