The body which organises GP services across the district has made it easier for people to find out about its rules and responsibilities.
NHS Wakefield Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has released a summary version of its constitution.
Dr Phil Earnshaw, CCG chairman, said: “Our full constitution sets out what we promise to provide for the people of Wakefield. Many of the clauses are legal requirements which make the hold document quite long and difficult to understand.
“That’s why we decided to produce this summary version, which clearly and simply sets out what we’re all about.”
The full constitution is a legal requirement set out by NHS England.
