GP service still available over the bank holiday
A GP care service will still be available this bank holiday weekend with doctor surgeries likely to shut.
Anyone requiring same-day health requirements is being advised to contact their usual GP centre, where they will be re-directed to a trained clinician who can arrange a telephone consultation. It will be available from 9am to 10pm.
For urgent, non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries, King Street Walk In Centre in Wakefield will be open between 10am and 10pm.
