Halloween fun is set to begin
All entries must be received by 10am and public voting closes at 3pm.

Hide AdYoungsters are invited to a spook fest at The Ridings Shopping Centre starting with a scary pet zoo tomorrow.
Throughout the week children can also make ghoulish decorations, monster masks and trick or treat goodie bags from Monday, October 27 to Friday, October 31 from 11am til 3pm.
If youngsters haven’t had enough fun Trinity Walk is hosting a Halloweek which will include a trick or treat treasure hunt from Monday to Friday.
Children can put on their wellies and head out into the field to pick their very own Halloween pumpkin to carve at Farmer Copleys Farm Shop Pumpkin Festival.

Hide AdThe festival at the farm on Pontefract Road, starts tomorrow and will run until Friday, October 31.
Pontefract Castle is also inviting people to join them and meet the Hag in the Mag who will tell them about Halloween.
There will be trails, treats and fun down the dungeon on Friday, October 31 from noon to 2pm.
Visitors to South Elmsall Library will be able to make witches, bats, spiders and cauldrons and enjoy puzzles, quizzes and a colouring competition from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Friday. There will be a free goodie bag for anyone in fancy dress.
The Hemsworth Pub will be hosting a children’s Halloween fancy dress party on Friday, October 31 from 5pm to 9pm.
