Hospital to get £16m boost
The South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has announced plans to refurbish the non-secure units, Priory and Trinity, as well as the older people’s inpatient unit Chantry.
They also plan to build new state-of -the-art therapeutic areas and en-suite bathrooms .

Hide AdThe money will also go towards refurbishing visitor and reception areas. The redevelopment is expected to be completed in 2018.
Wakefield MP Mary Creagh said: “This is great news for local mental health provision and disability services. This injection of funds will make a huge difference to people.
“I can’t wait to see the new buildings take shape.”
