Loose Women presenter and singer Jane McDonald puts fabulous frocks up for charity auction
Wakefield Hospice is holding an online auction of some of the glamorous dresses that the entertainer has used on stage.
The former cruise ship singer and Loose Women presenter has generously donated a huge selection of her concert frocks over the past 17 years.

Hide AdThe gowns will be auctioned in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the hospice and to help raise funds.
Jane McDonald said: “When going through all these beautiful gowns, I was reminded of the fantastic times I had when wearing them. I actually had a lump in my throat when they were collected. I hope they make lots of money for Wakefield Hospice. Now it’s time to make new memories.”
The presenter has supported the work of the hospice for many years.
Keeley Harrison, fundraising manager at Wakefield Hospice on Aberford Road, said: “When Jane contacted us to say she wanted to donate some of her concert gowns for us to auction and raise funds for the hospice, we were thrilled.

Hide Ad“Some of the dresses have been put on the auction site already and more will be added in the next week or two. We are so grateful to Jane for donating the gowns and hope that the auction will raise a lot of money for patient care at Wakefield Hospice.”
