Lorry stuck under bridge
A LORRY has become trapped under a bridge.
The lorry hit the Double Two bridge on Denby Dale Road, Thornes shortly after 2pm today.
Motorists are facing delays as emergency teams work to free the vehicle.
A police spokesman said: “We received a call about the incident at 2.08pm.
“There is no suggestion of any injuries.”
He said both city bound lanes were closed as well as one lane leaving Wakefield.
