M1 remains closed after truck hits pedestrian
One side of the M1 is still closed hours after an accident involving a truck and a pedestrian.
The accident happened near J46 at Garforth at around 5am on the slip road of the motorway.
The male pedestrian suffered serious injuries.
Road closures are in place whilst emergency services are on the scene and all southbound traffic is being diverted by the A1.
Road users may wish to seek alternative routes.
