Majority of parents in Wakefield have secure first choice primary school for their child.

Parents were asked to submit their top five preferences before mid-January this year. Though the proportion of families getting their first choice schools in Wakefield has slightly increased from 92.1 per cent last year, a total of 356 children have missed out on their parents’ number one choice.
