Man due in court after Hemsworth flats fire
A man has been charged with arson after a woman had to jump from a first floor window to flee a fire at a block of flats in Hemsworth.
Emergency services were called to the two-storey building on Highfield Road at around 11.50pm on Friday.
A fire service spokesman said the woman jumped from the window before firefighters arrived and needed treatment for a spinal injury.

Hide AdFive more people were rescued by fire crews, with two given treatment for smoke inhalation.
A further 10 people were able to get themselves safely out of the building.
Police said a 32-year-old man has been charged and is expected to appear before Wakefield Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday).
