Meeting on plans to regenerate Pontefract

People in Pontefract can give their views on plans to regenerate the town at a meeting next week.

Pontefract Civic Society will hold a talk and invite discussion about the regeneration of the town by three members of Wakefield Council’s Planning, Transportation and Highways Service.

Ian Garratt, principal planning officer, Kate Thompson, senior development manager for regeneration and Tracey Brewer, group engineer highways development manager on Tuesday, May 13 at 7pm at Carleton Grange, in Carleton.

All are welcome to attend the meeting and admission is £2 for society members and £3 for non-members including refreshments.
