Motorcyclist fighting for his life after Knottingley crash
A motorcylist suffered life threatening injuries after colliding with a parked car on Pontefract Road in Knottingley.
Police were called to the scene , close to the junction with the A162 Ferrybridge Bypass, at around 4am this morning (Monday).
The rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary by ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
Pontefract Road was closed while police and paramedics dealt with the incident but is now fully reopen.
