National Front to march in the city
The National Front is to stage a March through Wakefield next weekend.
The far-right group says it will demonstrate against criminal grooming gangs on Saturday, July 7.
Specific details of the march are yet to be released but police have been notified and Chief Supt Mabs Hussain, district commander of Wakfield Police, said: “We are liaising with the organisers and our partner agencies to put appropriate plans in place to facilitate peaceful protest and minimise the impact on the local community.”
