Nominate your hero for Wakefield District Housing’s Love Where You Live awards

The scheme recognises people from across the district for the hard work they put in to make the area a better place to live.

The categories include working with young people, best garden, best neighbour, best neighbourhood, young achiever, working with older people, community group and green hero. There is £500 up for grabs in each category.

WDH Chief Executive Kevin Dodd, chief executive of WDH, said: “The Love Where You Live Awards have become an important part of WDH’s calendar. Many tenants, home owners and community groups get a great deal of pleasure from brightening up their surroundings and helping other people to enjoy life in their neighbourhoods.

“Our Love Where You Live Awards are a community-wide celebration of people who make this a district to be proud of.”
