People can look at the progress being made on transforming Queen’s Mill in Castleford into a museum at an open day this weekend.
Castleford Heritage Trust hopes to turn the former Allinson’s Mill, on Aire Street into a heritage, arts centre and museum.
The trust will open the doors to the mill on Saturday, May 3 from 10am to 3pm when the latest plans will be on show.
There will also be a May Day fair featuring arts and craft stalls.
Alison Drake, chairman of the trust, said: “It’s going to be a great day and it gives people the chance to see our latest plans.”
