Pair trapped in car after Pontefract crash
Two elderly people were injured after their car crashed into a garage in Pontefract last night.
They were freed by firefighters after being trapped in the vehicle after the accident on The Orchard at around 6.45pm.
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said: “Both casualties were extricated by fire service personnel and handed over into the care of paramedics.”
Fire crews from Pontefract and Castleford attended the incident.
