A business-savvy Castleford man made the most of panic buying in March - by offering spare toilet rolls on Facebook for a bargain price of £3,000. Richard Taylor created the listing after seeing a series of posts about empty supermarket shelves.

July was a great month for one family - when they scooped a new build 4-bedroom home in exchange for a £1 raffle ticket. More than 400,000 raffle tickets were made available, and thousands of Wakefield families took part.
