Bank branch to close in Pontefract as part of restructure
Pontefract's branch of Yorkshire Bank will close its door as part of a huge cull that could see hundreds of jobs being lost.
Virgin Money, which has merged with the old Clydesdale Yorkshire Bank Group, will axe the Ropergate branch, along with banks in Brighouse, Wombwell, Bridlington, Morley and Harehills in Leeds.
The bank said these branches were selected for closure as a result of lower usage.
