Mum Kelly Chamberlain said: "My little boy misses her so much. He's always asking to go for a walk to find Minnie and has helped me put up missing posters all over Castleford.

"Not to mention my other cat who doesn't know what to do with himself without her.

"I believe she is either lost, been stolen or injured and can't make her way home as she would never stay away from her family for this long."

Minnie is small tabby cat with a distinctive little chip out of her ear. She doesn't wear a collar, but is microchipped and all the details are up to date.

Kelly said: "She is very timid and I can imagine she would be very frightened by now. I've tried everything. Put up posters, posted leaflets through doors, endless posts on Facebook and have had no luck whatsoever.

"We just want to bring Minnie home to where she belongs. I would love to see my son's face light up when he sees her again."

Kelly said she is offering £200 for Minnie's safe return or any information that can lead her to her.
