Normanton Rotary Club comes to rescue of food bank
The Rotary Club of Normanton has come to the aid of the food bank at The Well Project.
The food bank, which is based in Haw Hill Park, Normanton following a call to check on their well-being in light of current events.
Ian James, president of Normanton Rotary Club, is seen here presenting a £500 cheque to Ash Samuels assistant manager of The Well Project’s Foodbank.
The cash will be used to buy much-needed essential supplies of food.
Earlier this week, Wakefield Council confirmed they had donated more than £20,000 worth of food to food banks across the district.
