'Our restaurants have a new covered roof area, an igloo, and an outdoor terrace - and we're looking forward to using them next year' - Wakefield businesswoman looks to a brighter 2021

The restaurants have moved into home delivery and adapted outdoor sections in the hope Wakefield will return to Tier 2 and the city can welcome back diners.

“We have adapted our outdoor areas at all the restaurants.
“Qubana has a brand new stretch tent covering the roof terrace. It has created the most beautiful winter hide out.
“Fino has an outdoor ‘bubble/igloo’ that can seat six people.
“Robatary has created an in/out area on their terrace to make it more comfortable for outdoor dining.

“Fingers crossed for a much brighter 2021 – Lets celebrate Christmas at Easter!”
The Yorkshire Deli on Northgate is another restaurant that branched into delivery.
But it all means additional costs and owner Christian Lawlor said there have been several weeks where the deli was unable to turn a profit.

He said: “The year has been terrible for us, just like everyone else. But we do have a very loyal customer base and people genuinely like to share and interact with us online.”
