Parents and residents warned over illegally parking around schools
Parents and residents are being warned about blocking pavements and parking illegally around schools after one motorist was given a ticket.
Officers issued the fixed penalty notice to a motorist outside Shay Lane Primary School in Crofton for parking on the zig-zag lines outside the premises.
A police spokesman said: “Parking like this endangers the children so please think before you park.”
